Magnets in general last almost "forever." Ceramic magnets
without use and abuse last for several hundred years. Rare earth magnets
with the same care last for up to 100 years without losing their original
strength. Both magnets with use and exposure to anything conductive, such
as our bodies or metals, will lose energy more rapidly. As a result the
typical effective life is about 100 years for ceramic magnets and about 30
years for rare earth type. These are some guidelines and suggestions for
handling and storage of the different kinds of magnets to achieve the most
life out of your magnetic health products.
